Roselyn Peterson, PhD

Roselyn Peterson, PhD, is Research Director and Clinical Faculty of the Clinical Psychology PsyD program at Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island. She completed her clinical psychology degree at the University of Central Florida, her clinical internship at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and went on to complete two years of postdoctoral training at the Center for Alcohol and Addiction Studies in the School of Public Health at Brown University. Her research focuses on the intersection of alcohol use and sexual violence, with a particular emphasis on protective behavioral strategies (PBS).

Brad Conner, PhD, is Professor, Director of Addiction Counseling, and Director of the Development of Addictive & Risky Behaviors Lab at Colorado State University. His current research is focused on three primary areas: (1) studying predictors and consequences of cannabis use and measurement, specifically measurement of cannabinoid exposure; (2) exploring how minoritized identities are received by larger society and how these experiences predict engagement in risky behaviors, including suicide, self-injury, substance use, and risky sex; and (3) examining predictors and outcomes of risky sex in adolescent and young adult populations at risk for developing personality disorders and other severe mental illnesses.

Katie Wong

Katie Wong is a clinical research coordinator and post-baccalaureate research fellow at UCLA, where she also earned dual B.A. degrees in Psychology and Political Science. At the UCLA Health Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, she coordinates youth clinical research integrating MRI acquisition, clinical assessment, protocol development, and fMRI analysis. In the Society, Psychology, & Health Research Lab, her work focuses on HIV prevention, health disparities, substance use, incarceration/reentry, and structural barriers to care. Her broader interests include trauma, youth mental health, addictive behaviors, justice-involved populations, and translating psychological science into developmentally informed and equitable systems of care.
